The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024. Candidates interested in
applying for CTET Paper I (Primary Level) and Paper II (Junior Level) can do so online from 17 September 2024 to 16 October 2024. Below are the important details
regarding the application process, eligibility criteria, and other relevant information.

Application Fee
For Single Paper:
General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000/-
SC / ST / PH:₹500/-
For Both Papers (Primary & Junior):
General / OBC / EWS: ₹1200/-
SC / ST / PH: ₹600/-
Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan.
Eligibility Criteria
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V)
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002.
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)
-Graduation and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
Graduation with at least 45% marks** and passed or appearing in B.Ed, in accordance with the NCTE Regulations.
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education).
Qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Candidates pursuing any teacher education course recognized by the NCTE
or RCI, as specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010, are also eligible.
Post-Graduation with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
How to Apply for CTET December 2024 Exam
1. Application Period: Apply online from 17/09/2024 to 16/10/2024.
2. Limited Exam Centers: Choose your nearest exam center as soon as possible since slots are limited.
3. Read Notification: Carefully read the notification before applying.
4. Document Preparation: Ensure you have all required documents such as eligibility proof, ID proof, address details, and basic details.
5. Scanned Documents: Prepare scanned copies of your photo, signature, and ID proof.
6. Review Application: Before submitting, review all details carefully.
7. Fee Payment: Ensure you pay the required application fee; otherwise, your form will not be completed.
8. Print Form: After submission, take a printout of the final submitted form.
