While makers say that the show is a work of fiction, if you look at the story and Baba’s character, you find it inspired by the life of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the chief of Dera Sacha Sauda.
Around June 2022, Deol hinted at the Aashram 4 release date and that the show is in the making for the new season. The teaser sees Baba saying, “I am God. I am beyond your laws. I have created this heaven. How can you arrest God?”
We see Pammi willingly returning to the Aashram. Baba’s lieutenant, Bhop Singh (played by Chandan Roy Sanyal), warns Pammi to stay away from Baba, and we soon see her dressing up like a bride. A big twist promises to unfold in the relationship between Baba and Pammi, making it worth watching.
NDTV reported that the show was supposed to be released last year; however, due to unforeseen reasons, the release was delayed. According to the report, Ashram 4 will be released in December 2024 and streamed on MX Player.

After Aashram season 3, Baba ascends to the status of “Bhagwan,” signifying that his followers now regard him as a divine figure on Earth. This represents the pinnacle of power he can attain, and in season 4, Baba will likely go to great lengths to maintain this newfound title. However, despite his elevated status, Baba finds himself incarcerated at the end of season 3. The season 4 teaser depicts Bhagwan preaching from behind bars, asserting that a god cannot be confined. Baba’s confrontation with the law will intensify even further in Aashram season 4.
If media reports are accurate, Aashram 4 will follow the trend and be released on MX Player, as in previous seasons. However, fans may have to wait another 10 months for its release. According to speculation, Aashram 4 is expected to premiere in December 2024, the last month of the year. While the show’s creators have not confirmed this officially, it’s something to look forward to for fans of the series.
